Histoire d'Hyrule renouvelée
Salut à tous !
Je vous passe le billet que j'ai tapé sur mon blog, par contre il est tard et j'ai la flemme de le traduire (enfin pour le moment) :
Well, I'm from Europe, and as you know we were the last served about the Wii (yeah but so happy since we haven't to wait for 6 months) ; meanwhile all of you finished Twilight Princess, I'm just running out from a forest saved from darkness wink
So, I haven't see yet our beautiful Hyrule Field. I'm still dreaming on pictures I could catch on the Web, but let's consider approaches with Ocarina of Time.
Where's the Kokiri forest ? It exists, but you can't access to it since it's a forgotten world, a plae you can't reach when you're not Kokiri - or almost you've born there.
So for us Kokiri land remains a mythological part of the Twilight Princess world : it maybe exists... Only the Heroe of Time would be the only non-Kokiri to know it. Whatever you reach it, you'll lose your way trough the Lost Woods.
I can't speak about Gorons, since I haven't see them yet, but I can estimate that they're following their physical evolution and also use more sophisticated objects.
Princess Zelda is still young, as the Legend considers that Zelda is a terrestrial goddess (and also the link between Hyrule and the Goddesses) who protects more than the King the world.
What about the Two Worlds ? We're living in a good against bad world. There's no people in the middle of it ; only victims and actors, for good or for bad. But we can't compare it with the Legendary Seven-Years delay of Ganon leading. Whatever strange facts in Kakarico village, everyone was killed or put to servitude, there's no key to think that they're jailed in a Dead world just as we see in Twilight. More : the Twilight "ghosts" aren't even ones since they're not died, they can interact with objects and can also get back from that world.
In that way, Twilight World was only done to show who's the Heroe and who's not ; may we consider that the Goddesses, since they couldn't fight that world, tried to give a "special gift" to the One who'll save all the society.
We may also see that everytime, a boy (always a male human then ? No, since the Hero is the Strengh, meanwhile Zelda is Wisdom ; noone can save the World without the other part) is choosen to be the One when the period of 1000 years is ending and breaks the Sages' Seal.
Are we living in a perpetual History ? No, Hyrule is simply reached every 1000 years by Ganondorf, meanwhile our country can hugely change : just have a look to Wind Waker story, in which Hyrule is a sea !
Here I end a first attempt to "historicize" the Twilight World. For now... ?
