Windrose feels a lot less stressful when you know your early access progress isn't about to vanish overnight. The developers have made it clear that wipes aren't part of the current plan, so your base, gear, storage, and hard-earned Windrose Items should still be there while everyone waits for the Ashlands update. That's a big deal, because the jump from the Coastal Jungle into the Ancient Swamps is rough. You'll feel it fast. The Forgotten Relics quest sends you after the second Charon's Obol, which is worth chasing for the health regen, but the route isn't friendly. The Tainted Forest is the real warning sign.
